OLD BUSINESS
ANWG GRANT Louise has a Sign up Sheet for anyone
interested in the Three Grant Programs we are offering. There is
beginning Weaving, Spinning and Felting. The dates are tentative as
follows. Weaving mid October; Spinning April or May; and Felting Mid
March. As these dates are set, Louise will let everyone know.

Judith spoke about the ANWG Newsletter for July 10th and she will look
into that. We could send in reports about the 4-H Project, Haney House
etc. that we are involved in as a Guild.

DISPLAY CASE Picadilly Mall Carole will collect the items for

FALL FAIR
Ann spoke about having a Felted Shawl Demonstration at the Fair and a
Goal of having a Felted Shawl Class for our 40th Anniversary in 2020.

There is a Sign up Sheet at the front desk, for everyone who is going to help at the Fall Fair as the time gets closer to the Fair, I will send out the list of members who have signed up for the various dates and times.
You can sign up online for your Entries in the Fair and use Paypal to pay.
SHEEP TO SHAWL REPORT All Teams to have an extra person to take

There was a name drawn for two Shawls from previous years and they

IPE REPORT Sharon will have the August Spin In at her house
from 10 am to 2 pm, on Wednesday the 15th to organize the IPE.

IPE begins August 29 and runs until Sept 2nd. There is a sign up sheet at
the front desk for the five days as well as the set up day on the 28th of
August. These sheets will also be a Sharon’s to sign up.

The Fair has mentioned having a demonstration at our Guild Set Up area.

Anyone who has Skeins for display at the SAFF, please
bring them to the IPE Meeting at Sharon’s on the 15th of
August. These should be in to Ann early so the Signs can be made up for display. Please include the Yarn Information, what, where and when etc.

SPIN OUT COMMITTEE REPORT
Bea, Sonia, Lynne, Marianne, and Marg are on the Committee.. The
Church Hall has been booked for October the 27th. The Committee has
had a meeting and gotten almost everything and everyone organized.

This project takes lots of organization and work, many thanks to Bea and
her Team. There will be more information later in the year regarding help
and what to bring etc.

BLANKETS: There is a new Warp on the loom and all spots have been

4 pm, during the SAFF.
ENDERBY ARTS FESTIVAL July 28th 9 am to 4 pm Lis has the Booths 4 pm, during the SAFF.

LUMBY DAYS Louise The Monashee Spinners and
Weavers will be demonstrating Spinning etc at the Community Hall on
Saturday. There is a parade at 10am.

APRONS Anyone wanting to make an apron will get together at the
Shuswap Middle School this Thursday at 4pm in the sewing room.
It takes about 2 ½ meters to make an apron, Lis used Gingham Fabric.

4-H Letter. Lis. Elvi, Marianne and Carole attended the 4-H event,
working with Llama, the 4-H Club sent back a Llama fleece for us.

GRINDROD DAYS there are no plans this year to attend.
