Anne C. has been felting socks she has made from 100 % home grown wool. Knit into CSM sock blank and dyed. |
The yarn was dyed in a cake with an elastic around it to keep it from unwinding. Anne put dye in a shallow tray and pressed 1/3 of the ball into the dye. Did that 2 more times with red, blue and yellow, then pressed a syringe of aqua colour into each end. Cooked in the microwave to set the dye. Then knit! |
