Louise's comments re the sale were read for members to think about.  To paraphrase: she thought a larger venue would be better and that having the sale near the end of November is preferable to earlier in the month.
Julia has tentatively booked the United Church for 2015, the last Saturday of November.  Gabriele, Noelle and Ann are to meet with Tracy from the Art Gallery before the next meeting.
Lis has 10 people interested in learning to warp a loom.  Saturday is the preferred day.
The workshop will be on Jan 10 and 17, 2015. $5 to cover the cost of the room rental.

Lucy Neatby , Ann to resend the information.
Members present were in favour of hosting a spin- in on April 11.  Ann moves that the spin in committee get an advance, seconded Nikki, all in favour., carried.  It is expected that all monies will be recouped.  This is an event for everyone, not just spinners.  A great day to socialize and meet people from further afield with similar interests.  An opportunity to try a variety of different spinning wheels will be a feature of our event.  Further information at February's meeting.

Melissa  spoke about the new performance arts centre and the opportunity to be a part of it.  She will be the contact person.  Aviva voting is currently happening, vote each day to help gain extra funds. ( As many people as possible need to sign up and vote)  Invite a representative to our February meeting at 1 p.m.  The next meeting is February 2 at 1:00 p.m.  Michele and Ann are doing refreshments and goodies.   Fibres Unlimited begins at 10 a.m.

Raw Fleece Workshop with Louise

An AMAZING workshop taught by Louise in Ann's barn (thank you Ann - cleanest barn I have ever been in!) - we learned SO much from Louise - everything from identifying the raw fleece bits, to proper separation and use depending on how you would like to utilize it all the way to many different and fantastic ways to clean it!

Thank you so much Louise!

And thank you Bea for taking and sharing the photos :)
