Heritage Week at Piccadilly Mall

Many thanks to everyone who came to help out this week at the mall. Lots of great visits with each other and the public as well made each day fly by. The involvement and support of so many is what makes our guild work. Many people visited and chatted each day with lots of interest in how we prepare fibre and make yarn. Card weaving, the sock machine, cleaning fleece and carding were a few of the extra demos done.

The lovely Kool-Aid dyed fleece and handspun with some of the demo fleece

At the stall with some of the ladies and all the amazing textile goodies on display!

Glenda's work in progress delicious shawl style sweater still on the needles

Linda's lovely hand knit alpaca and wool sweater - it was so soft! And Noelle's yummy handpun and plied yarn - love the colours! And she completed the yarn while she was there :)

Lastly, our wonderful Linda teaching the little ones to weave and crochet :)
