April Show and Tell
Carol salvaged this beautiful sari she just had to show us.
It was so heavy with all those beads on it!
I wonder what she will make with it?

This is Carol's yarn she spun.

Noelle and Ann went to a "Rug Hooking Workshop" through
Interwined Fibre Arts.  This was one the her finished rugs.

Here is a close up of her rug.
Noelle also made a runner, double sided.  This is one side ....

...... this is the other side.

Ann brought in a bunch of her different types of yarn she had
spun.  She is also asking people to be thinking about entering
their spinning for show at the Fall Fair.
Ann wove a buautiful mohair blanket (which I didn't get a
picture of!) but then she cut the end off of her loom and
finished it to make a collar shawl.  What a great idea!
Love the colours and it was soooo soft!
Here is a close up of Ann's Shawl. Her blanket is in the
display window at the Piccadilly Mall this month.

Barb's been busy needle felting pin cushons.
Flowers and hedge hogs. They are too cute,
she even sold one to a member of ours tonight!

Barb, your so talented!

Darlene knitted another toque and glove set since last month.

Darlene's spinning.  Beautiful colours.

Jennifer's felted jewlery from a Flora
Carlilie-Kovacs workshop she took,
more beautiful talent!

Guess who's sweaters these are?  Yes, Loanna's.

Love the colours! Can you see those cute buttons?

..... and last but not least.... waulking one blanket in the bath tub!
Rub a Dub Dub, I've heard of three men in the tub but here are
Gloria, Sherry and Judith trying to waulk one lonely woven alpaca
blanket in a bath tub!  When you see these ladies you'll have to get
the whole story. 😊
Oops.... I almost forgot about Rod's test knit toque he did in
March.  Quite a different cable.  He says it was a fun knit once
you got the hang of the patteren.  Check the Pippin pattern  out
on Ravelry released April 10th by rhyFlower Knits.
