Friday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. was waulking of the blankets.
The blankets were woven in late spring and today we waulked them,  which is a type of fulling process before washing the blankets.

Setting up the tables and blankets in preparation for waulking.

Getting the blankets wet and soaped before starting.

It is a 1, 2, 3, 4 motion!
Swish, swish, swish pass the blanket along!
Note, all the blankets are all woven together.

Passing the blanket to the person on your left.

Start again, 1.... Swish.......
